1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Yalla Tasker platform (the “Platform”), whether as a Client (service requester) or Tasker (service provider). By registering, accessing, or using Yalla Tasker, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Payment & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- Yalla Tasker — technology platform operated by Yalla Tasker FZ-LLC connecting Clients/Partners with Taskers.
- Client — individual requesting services.
- Tasker — independent service provider delivering services.
- Services — work, tasks, or services requested.
3. Eligibility
- Users must be 18+ and legally capable of entering into contracts in UAE.
- Must hold a valid Emirates ID and be authorised to request or provide services.
- Taskers must comply with UAE labour and residency laws, with valid permits/licenses.
- Provide accurate registration details; failure may lead to suspension.
4. Account Registration
- Only one account per user.
- Keep credentials safe; no transfers/sales allowed.
- Yalla Tasker may request Emirates ID or Trade License to verify identity.
- Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination.
5. Platform Use and Conduct
- Use for lawful purposes only.
- No illegal, adult, gambling, alcohol, political, or marketing content.
- No harassment, threats, or discrimination.
- No bots, scrapers, or automated access.
- No unsolicited promotional content or links.
6. Task Posting and Completion
- Clients must define scope, expectations, budget, and deadlines clearly.
- Taskers must only make offers they can fulfil professionally.
- Client must confirm completion for payment release.
7. Role of Yalla Tasker
Yalla Tasker is a facilitator — not an employer. Contracts exist between Client and Tasker. We verify credentials where relevant but do not guarantee Tasker performance.
8. Booking & Payment
- Payments processed securely and held in escrow until task completion.
- Released after Client marks task complete or automatically after 24h if no dispute.
- Service fee indicated during offer.
- No cash payments; cancellations may incur fees.
9. Ratings and Reviews
- Clients and Taskers leave honest reviews.
- Abusive or false reviews may be removed.
- Users grant Yalla Tasker the right to use ratings/reviews in marketing.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Resolve disputes amicably or escalate to Support.
- Serious disputes (fraud/violence) involve authorities.
- If unresolved, disputes may go to arbitration before UAE courts.
11. Suspension and Termination
- Violations may lead to suspension or termination.
- Grounds: fraud, abuse, harassment, low ratings, illegal activity, or marketing misuse.
- Accounts under rating 2 may be blocked.
12. Warning and Enforcement Policy
- First violation: warning.
- Second violation: suspension.
- Third violation: permanent ban.
- Serious violations may result in immediate ban.
13. Do’s & Don’ts
Clients
- ✅ Provide accurate task details, ensure safe site, treat Taskers respectfully.
- ✅ Make timely payments, confirm task completion, follow UAE laws.
- ❌ No illegal or unsafe services, last-minute cancellations, bypassing platform, false info, or harassment.
Taskers
- ✅ Accept only qualified tasks, arrive on time, communicate clearly, keep docs updated.
- ✅ Follow UAE laws, report suspicious activity.
- ❌ Do not subcontract without consent, accept off-platform payments, misuse data, or engage in fraud.
14. Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made on platform.
- No refunds after completion.
- Booking fees not refunded after acceptance.
- Short-notice cancellations may be non-refundable.
- Frequent cancellations may result in suspension or penalties.
15. Data Privacy
- Data collected under UAE PDPL.
- Partners must handle customer data securely.
- Personal data not sold or shared except for services.
- Users agree to Privacy Policy.
16. Do’s & Don’ts
Clients — Do’s
- ✅ Provide accurate task details (scope, timing, budget).
- ✅ Ensure worksite is safe and accessible.
- ✅ Treat Taskers with respect and follow UAE cultural norms.
- ✅ Make timely payments only through the platform.
- ✅ Confirm task completion promptly once satisfied.
- ✅ Follow UAE laws and Yalla Tasker policies.
Clients — Don’ts
- ❌ Request illegal, unsafe, or prohibited services.
- ❌ Cancel tasks last minute without valid reason.
- ❌ Bypass the platform to hire Taskers directly.
- ❌ Provide false information or impersonate someone else.
- ❌ Harass, threaten, or discriminate against Taskers.
- ❌ Post misleading or retaliatory reviews.
Taskers — Do’s
- ✅ Accept only tasks you are qualified and able to complete.
- ✅ Arrive on time with necessary tools.
- ✅ Communicate clearly and politely with Clients.
- ✅ Keep profile, Emirates ID, and licenses updated.
- ✅ Follow UAE safety standards and laws.
- ✅ Report disputes or suspicious activity via the platform.
Taskers — Don’ts
- ❌ Accept tasks outside your skills or without legal permits.
- ❌ Subcontract work without Client consent.
- ❌ Request or accept off-platform or cash payments.
- ❌ Cancel accepted tasks without genuine reason.
- ❌ Misuse or store Client personal information.
- ❌ Engage in fraud, harassment, or unprofessional conduct.
17. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, trademarks, and software are Yalla Tasker’s property. Users may not copy, distribute, or exploit without permission.
18. Force Majeure
Yalla Tasker is not liable for delays due to natural disasters, internet outages, regulations, or government actions.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed under UAE law, with exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.
